This 'end-of-the-line' town has so many different faces to show us; as a town of books, it is a bohemian hotbed of learning - home to the National Library of Wales and Aberystwyth University. In six contrasting essays, some of Wales's best writers explore their relationship with Aberystwyth, and in so doing, raise the curtain on many aspects that make this town unique.
