Roy Noble

Roy Noble is a native of Brynaman in Carmarthenshre but he has lived for the past thirty years in Aberdare with his wife Elaine and son Richard.

His early professional career was in education and in the latter years he was a head teacher at two primary schools in Powys. His move to broadcasting was gradual and after joining the BBC full time his daily radio programme attained the Sony Award for the highest listening figures. He is constantly in demand as an after-dinner speaker at many societies and clubs.
