John Rogers

John Rogers was born in Cardiff where he attended Cardiff College of Art studying under John Roberts, David Tinker and Phil Jennings. He worked in the theatre, television, circus and as an interior designer before turning to painting full time. He opened his gallery in St David?s, Pembrokeshire, in 1972.

John Rogers exhibits widely and has work in public collections and many private collections throughout the world. His work is included in collections at the Museum & Art Gallery in Newport, the county Museum & Art Gallery in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, the Museum of Modern Art, Machynlleth and the collection of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
